[2019] SAMPLE DESIGNER / ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT DESIGN
In 1950s New York, a lonely private detective afflicted with Tourette's Syndrome ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend.
I built an extremely unique set of sampler instruments, taken from an extensive experimental saxophone recording session, as well as much more unusual sources to create a completely fresh sound palette. Daniel then combined this with more traditional orchestral score elements to create what ended up becoming one of my favourite recent film scores that I have had a chance to work on.
Score composed and produced by Daniel Pemberton.
