[2022] COMPOSER
Unique documentary about Polish professor of natural sciences Simona Kossak, self-proclaimed 'animal psychologist'. Simona, coming from a well-known family of painters ends up moving to the middle of one of the oldest forest in Europe and living in the house with wild animals.
I created the score by building hundreds of sampler instruments from various wild animals taking sounds from the set - as a result I could play melodies on the piano with bird sounds and craft harmonies from wolf's howling. I combined with lyrical flute themes to create an unusual and captivating new musical world that reflects Simona's incredible life story.
The score has been extremely well received and was nominated for Polish Soundtrack of the Year during the 2023 Krakow Music Film Festival.
